FLU Vaccination 2020
Flu Vaccine appointments will be available to book on and after Thursday 24th September - Please do not phone before then to make an appointment.

Invite letters will be sent to the relevant patients either from NHS Scotland (patients over 65 years) or from the practice (at risk Patients).

All patients under 18 years of age will received an invite from the practice but MUST contact the telephone number on the letter to arrange an appointment at one of the Dundee Immunisation clinics as per NHS Tayside. The Practice will not be able to vaccinate anyone in this age group.

If you are over 65 years of age or 18 to 64 years and in an ‘at risk’ catergory, please phone the surgery after the above date to arrange your appointment.

You will be given an appointment time for your vaccination, please do not attend early as you will be asked to wait outside.

Due to current Government Guidance, we can only have a limited number of patients in the building at any one time and we are still running selective surgeries for Nurses and GPs

When attending your appointment you may be ask covid related questions and your temperature taken.  Due to social distancing you may be asked to wait outside if there is any delay with the clinics.

Where possible please attend on your own, unless you require assistance or attending with a household member who also has an appointment

We are planning or running clinics throughout October and November, along with some Saturday clinics.

Due to the covid social distancing regulations, our Saturday clinics will be greatly reduced due to the limited number of patients we can allow access to the building at any one time.

For the Saturday Clinics, when making your appointment you will be given a clinic number, this will assist the practice to keep the surgeries running smoothly and on time . it is imperative that you keep a note of your clinic number and bring this with you to your appointment.

if you receive an invite for flu and choose not have this vaccination, please phone the practice to advise you are declining the invite and we will update your records accordingly.

There has been guidance this year to include patients aged 55 to 64 years of age. These invites will not be sent out until November, Please do not phone to arrange an appointment until you get your invite. Only those within the ‘at risk’ criteria in this age bracket will received an invite in September.
